Missouri State Loan Programs
First Place Loans
Both eligible veterans and first-time homebuyers may qualify for the First Place loan program, which is designed to make purchasing a home more affordable. Income limits apply. The first-time homebuyer provision may be waived for home purchased in certain targeted areas of the state.
Foreclosure Prevention Counselors
We are approved by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide counseling, education and advice in housing issues to new and existing homeowners.
Home Repair Opportunity Program (HERO)
Homeowners with low to moderate income and homes in need of significant repairs may qualify for the HERO program. Qualifying homes must be located in certain areas of Missouri and need improvements in the areas of accessibility, safety, and energy-efficiency. Assistance may be up to $20,000 depending on need.
Refinance Loan Program
Current homeowners who are stuck with a subprime loan may qualify for this refinance program. Assistance is available to financially responsible homeowners who need help with the closing costs or a reduction in principal to refinance their existing mortgage. Help is given in the form of a second mortgage which does not have to be repaid after five year or the transfer of the home, whichever comes first.
